A Norfolk State University graduate and member of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, Trevin A. Jones started his award-winning career at WNSB FM at Norfolk State University. After graduation, he worked as an announcer for WTJZ in Hampton, VA, and at WLAN FM in Lancaster, PA.
His next stop was Inner City Broadcasting in New York where he spent time as a producer for WBLS FM and WLIB AM. While in the nation’s number one media market he also worked as a studio director for Bad Boy Entertainment.
Moving on to Pittsburgh, the Lancaster, Pennsylvania native was hired as a producer for the Sheridan Broadcasting Network. He parlayed his knowledge of sports into a role as co-host and producer of the networks’ award winning “Black College Football Weekly” show. Trevin also filled-in as a morning drive anchor, and was responsible for writing, producing and broadcasting SBN Sports reports.
Trevin gained further experience in the field as a producer for the Sirius XM Fantasy Sports channel in Washington, D.C. While in the nation’s capitol he became “The Voice of Howard University Football & Basketball” on the Howard University Sport Radio Network.
Recently, Jones returned to Pittsburgh in an expanded capacity in the network’s SBN Sports Division as morning drive anchor and contributor to its award winning coverage of Black College Football. He also continues his role as play-by-play man for the Howard University.
