Kim Lampkins
is an extremely versatile broadcast professional who developed a lifelong ‘love affair’ with radio as a sophomore in college.
Kim’s passion for all-things-radio fueled her success across a variety of formats and duties; from award winning news reporter, anchor and producer, to top-rated major market on-air personality.  Kim is a talented news and creative writer, skilled in all aspects of music & news radio production.  She was among one of the first females in the country to lead a major market creative services department–the legendary KMJQ/Houston from 1985 to 1988.
Currently, morning news anchor for Sheridan Broadcasting Network, Kim has interviewed a who’s-who from politics to entertainment, and covered a host of breaking national news events to include two presidential inaugurations and several political conventions.
