Allegra Johnson is a reporter and audio Journalist for Sheridan Broadcasting Networks. She began her career as a morning news anchor for WAMO-FM in Pittsburgh.

Due to her exceptional work, Allegra has been nominated for her achievement in radio by the March of Dimes Achievement in Radio (A.I.R.) Awards.

Within her ten years of radio, television and print news experience, Allegra has covered major news and entertainment events in Pittsburgh and Washington D.C. She has interviewed politicians and news makers like Rev. Jesse Jackson and celebrities such as dancer Savion Glover.

Allegra holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Howard University.
