President Trump’s Travel and Family Drain Secret Service Funds

(SBN) — The secret service is out of money to pay hundreds of agents needed for President Donald Trump and his family. According to a USA Today report; more than 1,000 agents are required to protect the president who has traveled nearly every weekend of his presidency to his properties in Florida, New Jersey and Virginia.

Agents are also required to protect his adult children who have taken a number of business trips and vacations around the world. Under Trump, 42 people have secret service protection – that number includes 18 members of his family.

In the Obama administration, only 31 people were under secret service protection.
