(SBN) – The President’s Committee on the Arts & the Humanities is the latest advisory council to disband during Donald Trump’s tenure as head of state. In the wake of a rally led by white supremacists that turned deadly, in addition to controversial rhetoric by Trump, the committee wrote a letter where committee members resigned en masse.
It read in part, “Ignoring your hateful rhetoric would have made us complicit in your words and actions. We took a patriotic oath to support and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” It was then put on social media and quickly spread throughout the internet.
A hidden message was found in the letter. The first letter of each paragraph spells “RESIST.”
