New Orleans: Fears of a Pumping Station Failure Triggers ‘State of Emergency’


(SBN) – Amid fears that an already compromised pumping station in New Orleans could fail, a state of emergency has been put in place in a precautionary measure.

The flooding threat comes amid a report in which New Orleans officials city officials say they have spent some 350-million dollars of  2-billion dollar grant for what amounts to some 9-billions dollars in needed repairs.
