LONDON (AP) – Garbine Muguruza (GAHR’-been moo-gah-ROO’-thuh) has won the women’s title at Wimbledon, out-powering Venus Williams 7-5, 6-0.

It’s the second Grand Slam title for Muguruza, who won the French Open last year. The 37-year-old Williams was trying for her sixth Wimbledon title. The match was played under a closed roof on Centre Court, the first time a women’s final had been played indoors.
