(SBN)  Friday in round three of the 2017 NFL Draft, Grambling State wide receiver Chad Williams was selected by the Arizona Cardinals with the 34th pick. Two years ago the Cardinals selected another HBCU player Rodney Gunter in the fourth round out of Delaware State. Williams one of this years SBN Black College All-Americans is the first player from a Historical Black College and University chosen in this years draft. Rounds 4 through 7 resume on Saturday with many black college prospects hoping their name will be called.
