Albany State Names Gabe Giardina New Head Football Coach

(SBN) Earlier  this week   Albany State University Director of Athletics Sherie Gordon  announced the arrival of their new head football coach Gabe Giardina.  Giardina who  was  the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Charleston Southern University in 2015 and 2016  took  over  the  reins of the  Golden Rams football program on  April 24.

Giardina recently spent four years at Charleston Southern University as the Offensive Coordinator and  and offensive line coach. Prior to his tenure at CSU  he spent time as an assistant head coach at Delta State. The former Alabama Crimson Tide player also gained coaching experience early in his career  working under  coaches Mike Shula and Nick Saban.

Gabe Giardina  replaces former head coach Dan Land who resigned at the end of the 2016 season.
