This month, Food Psychologist and Brain and Cognitive Scientist Susan Peirce Thompson, Ph.D. is encouraging all Americans especially African Americans to take small and simple steps to achieve a healthier lifestyle year-round by showing individuals how to heal their brains from food addiction and shed those unhealthy pounds for good.

Susan recently released her new book Bright Line Eating: The Science of Living Happy, Thin and Free (Hay House, March 2017), which details her personal battle from obesity and food addiction to permanent weight loss. She is now the CEO of a thriving, multi-million-dollar startup that helps people around the world rewire their brains from food addiction, and in turn live happier and healthier lives. To date, Susan has helped 15,000-plus people lose weight and keep it off, built a successful company, and cultivated a tribe reaching 450,000 followers.
